Description
With the widespread use of social media platforms, many criminal cases involve social media in some capacity. This course covers unique methods for determining the data collected and maintained by social media entities and how to draft warrants and court orders to obtain it. You'll learn to identify and preserve all relevant data and analyze it to discover all available evidence, using real-world case data as examples.
These processes are not limited to social media cases but can also be applied to other types of cases that involve seeking data from a third-party entity.
This course is a must for new investigators and patrol officers who conduct patrol-based investigations.
