New Student Orientation (NSO) is offered online and is required for all newly admitted program students. NSO takes less than one hour and can be completed on a computer, smartphone or tablet. It covers:

Begin Orientation
Spring Term 2 and Summer 2024 Starts:

Fall 2024 Start: Orientation will be available here beginning April 1, 2024.
Log In
You will be prompted to log in when you begin orientation. Log in using your myWCTC username and password. Contact the Service Desk at 262.691.5555 if you need login assistance.
Register for Courses
After completing orientation, your next step is to register for courses:
- Log into DegreeWorks using your WCTC username and password. You'll find required courses, placement requirements, prerequisites, course descriptions, transfer credit, minimum grade requirements and more.
- Select your program in the catalog, then select the program plan that fits your schedule.
- Check your WCTC email for your New Student Advising Guide from your academic advisor. If you have questions, please contact 262.691.5400 or advising@wctc.edu.
Please note:
- Spring Term 2 classes begin Monday, March 25, 2024.
- Financial Aid Recipients: Confirm the status of your financial aid award, or be prepared to set up a payment plan.

Jump Start Sessions
Come jump start your WCTC experience at an optional in-person welcome session. Designed for students registered for classes in the upcoming semester, you’ll get a taste of campus life just in time to kick off your classes with confidence.
Please note, Jump Start does not replace the mandatory New Student Orientation.
