Learn English at WCTC

WCTC offers many options for you to learn the English language. These classes can help you prepare for college classes taught in English and help you communicate at home, at work and in the community.

  • ESL levels 1-6 (beginner to advanced)
  • No cost
  • Classes meet two days per week
  • Day and evening classes available
    (9-11:50 a.m. or 5:30-8:20 p.m.)

How to Get Started

  • In order to complete ESL courses at WCTC, you must be a Wisconsin resident.
  • Testing/registration and orientation are required for new students. Call 262.695.6521 to place your name on the registration/testing list.
  • Plan on spending four hours over a two-day session to complete the process.
  • If core classes are filled, additional options are available.

Integrated Education and Training (IET)

You can earn college credits and build career skills in one of our IET tracks. Take classes in popular entry-level careers like healthcare, IT, manufacturing, and more while also learning english as a second language. Abundant scholarship funding is available!
