Here's what you'll need to do before the first day of class:
Get to Know myWCTC
The myWCTC student portal is where you can access your academic profile, learn about events and opportunities on campus, and access your email and other technology resources.
Complete the FAFSA
WCTC’s Financial Aid Office can help you secure financial aid so you can focus on your studies instead of worrying about how to pay for school. You can file your FAFSA beginning October 1 of the year prior to the year you plan to enroll; complete the application by the priority date April 1 to maximize your aid.
Apply for Scholarships
WCTC offers scholarships for students in nearly every program area, as well as specialty scholarships that benefit non-traditional students, minority students and students with disabilities.
Register for Classes
Learn how to sign up for classes. Select "Newly-Admitted Program Students" to learn how you can register on your own. You can also access a variety of resources in MyCompass. If you need in-person assistance, please attend one of our Register & Go events. These drop-in events are held at the Pewaukee Campus from 1-6 p.m. on May 19, June 16 and July 21.
Attend a Connect & Stay Event
WCTC's Connect & Stay events are available online or in person. All new incoming students should plan to attend one. It's your guide to a smooth transition to WCTC, offering a deep dive into campus resources, college procedures and the student activities that will enhance your journey.
