Description
This course is a continuation of learning for both K9 and decoy from the previous basic level decoy course. This course will be much faster paced and require all the learned skills from before. This workshop will cover the following.
- Safely working K9’s through environmentals that involve smoke screens and fending off bites.
- Using hidden sleeves and a hidden suit.
- Using covered suit bites (suits wrapped in blankets and/or tarps).
- Having both applied bites and passive bites.
- Helping work K9s through backup and weapon neutrality.
- Multiple decoy scenarios and bailouts to fleeing decoys.
Attendees must have attended the Basic K9 Decoy course with Meier K9 in order to register. Only one person per team needs to register for the course (either handler or decoy - not both).
