Description
This course will cover the development of legal demands to preserve data and the drafting of warrants specific to the social media website(s) involved to your investigation. We will also discuss the steps taken to document and analyze the data recovered from the warrant.
Students will have the opportunity to analyze sample data using MSWord and MS Excel. A laptop computer with updated computer programs is required for this course.
The attendee will be provided take-aways including; sample warrants, law enforcement guides, software, sample returns, sample reports and sample presentations.
