Description
As a result of both on and off-the-job stress, Detective Tim Probst struggled with years of depression, which peaked in August 2020. Luckily, two friends intervened. Tim will share his personal and powerful story about cumulative stress and his diagnosis of Depression and Post Traumatic Stress Injury including;
- The good, bad, ugly and funy of mental illness

- Current delays in receiving mental health treatment

Captain Dan Baumann, Waukesha Police Department, will discuss an Administrator's role in Officer Wellness and ending the stigma associated with mental health, which have been proven successful.
Dr. Emily Jirokowic, Co-Owner of First Responders Psychological Services and wife of a police officer.
