Nitro-X Automotive Camp
June 20-24, 2022 | 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. | $125
During this week-long camp, students entering grades 7-9 work in pairs to build and modify a remote-controlled (RC) vehicle and race their vehicle on the last day of camp. They'll explore career opportunities in automotive and truck maintenance while enjoying field trips to three local businesses.

Camp Details
- Lunch and snacks are provided each day. Participants with dietary restrictions must provide their own meals.
- Camp fee includes Nitro-X t-shirt.
Camp Guidelines
Students must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes (i.e. sneakers) daily. Students not dressed appropriately will not be able to participate in that day's activities.
To ensure a positive experience and safety for all students, attendees are expected to adhere to the following camp guidelines:
- Use equipment only under the direction and guidance of an instructor.
- Treat all participants with respect.
- Follow the directions of all WCTC staff and activity leaders.
- Refrain from cell phone use during instruction and activities.
- Use appropriate language.
Students demonstrating behavior that interferes with the safety or learning experiences
of other camp participants will be removed from the program, and no refund will be
given.
