Description
This course is designed for both law enforcement and fire personnel who are responsible for the investigation of firerelated incidents. Based on NFPA 921 & 1033, this 40-hour class will provide the skills needed to conduct a court defensible investigation. The class presents both the technical knowledge and scientific skills necessary to conduct a successful fire cause investigation.
Currently, this is the only scheduled 40-Hour training in Wisconsin, approved by the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) that can be applied to a Fire Investigation Technician (FIT) or Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) certification application with the IAAI.
