Description
Based on NFPA 921 & 1033, this 40-hour class will provide the skills needed to conduct a court defensible investigation. The class presents both the technical knowledge and scientific skills necessary to conduct a successful fire cause investigation. This training has been approved by the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and can be applied to a Fire Investigation Technician (FIT) or Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) certification application with the IAAI. All the instructors are current, active Certified Fire Investigators or Professional Engineers.
