Description
This course focuses on how drones can be used to support operations in the field (search warrants, aerial surveillance, search and rescue, etc). In addition, it will assist potential new drone pilots or agencies looking into starting a drone program, those that already have one and want to evaluate their FAA compliance or those looking for overall guidance with ways to make an agency's program run most efficiently. Students will also receive an overview of FAA Part 107, suggestions on; the acquisition of drone equipment, policy and procedures, maintenance of equipment, budgeting and more!
This introductory course is recommended for employee(s) and administrator(s) involved with the operation of or oversight of your department's drone program.
