Description
The course will examine studies on red dot optics, use of force under stress and discuss several real-world incidents where officers employed a pistol mounted optic during a deadly force incident.
Instructors will learn how to shoot, teach and remediate student errors commonly experienced with the red dot pistol. Instructors will also be given tools and materials to help them successfully implement a training program at their department to increase officer safety and reduce department liability.
