
Student Leadership Council
The Voice of WCTC Students
The Student Leadership Council represents the needs, interests and concerns of all students at WCTC. The council is made up of an executive board and student senators representing each school on campus.
Student Leadership Council aims to:
- Represent the students’ voice within the College
- Serve as a liaison between the administration, faculty and students
- Promote citizenship and leadership among students
- Encourage improvement of WCTC and its surrounding communities
- Acquire and disseminate accurate information to the student body
- Develop social, cultural and recreational activities for the student body
- Coordinate and fund student organizations and activities

Interested in Joining SLC?
Member Expectations
- Attend bi-monthly SLC meetings
- Participate in campus committees
- Complete weekly involvement hours
- Executive Board: 5 hours
- Senators: 3.5 hours
Member Qualifications
- Enrolled in 6 credits or more per semester
- Be in good standing with the College
- Be an accepted and degree-seeking WCTC student
- Meet GPA requirements
- Executive Board: 2.5 GPA or higher
- Senators: 2.25 GPA or higher
