Description
Situational Awareness (Basic)
This 4 hour class was designed to introduce and educate civilians in the concept of Situational Awareness and the importance of managing their surroundings, recognizing threats to their personal safety, enhancing their physical confidence and an introduction of basic personal self- defense tactics. You will be provided with instruction into Basic Physical Skills that can be deployed to protect yourselves if you become subject to an attack. Must be at least 18 years of age to attend.
Topics Include:
• Provide a definitive understanding of Threat Assessment.
• Present techniques to enhance the personal safety of citizens.
• Provide instruction to enhance verbalization skills.
• Practice on training mannequins and with a pad protected instructor/actor.

This course fee is $4.50 for attendees over 62 years old.
