Description
This course prepares law enforcement professionals to effectively administer and teach the Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated (OMVWI)/Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) training program. It emphasizes techniques that support active learning, various learning preferences and needs, and continuous improvement in teaching /learning. Successful students will become LESB Certified SFST Instructors.
Required Equipment:
- Laptop (and cord) with PowerPoint installed (Must have Microsoft Office 10 or newer)
- SFST Instructor Candidate Participant Manual (Downloaded or printed version from WILENET: Academies & Curriculum; Instructor Courses; SFST Instructor Course)
