Description

Supervision of Police Personnel (SPP) offers instruction in foundational supervisory and managerial skills and is designed to teach first-line supervisors how to manage contemporary leadership challenges. This two-week course focuses on understanding human behavior and day-to-day work relationships with subordinates, superiors, and the public. Designed for officers with little or no formal supervisory training, SPP covers such critical topics in leadership and motivational principles, communication techniques, and more.

A laptop or tablet is required for this course.  Registrants will need to create a profile with NUCPS prior to the start of the class to gain access to Canvas.  This can be done by visiting:
