Description
Vehicle Pursuit Training
The 2021- 2023 biennium's training will address a number of issues affecting public and officer safety and will include:
- Statewide Pursuit data
- Technology review
- EVOC Disturbance Resolution Model
- Practical Exercises
If local policy prohibits pursuits or limits pursuit methods, officers will learn how they can act in a supporting role for a pursuing agency.
Mandatory Equipment:
- Gun belt with handcuff key.
- Remove all weapons and ammunition prior to class.
- Dress for weather conditions.
