Real-World AI Experience Through Internships
WCTC’s AI internships connect classroom learning with real industry applications. Students work alongside employers who are exploring automation, data workflows, machine learning, or AI-enabled process improvements. These internships give students the opportunity to apply their skills, gain professional experience, and contribute to meaningful projects that support organizational innovation.
Students typically in their internship last semester. They must have completed 80% of their coursework. AI internships are a minimum of 144 hours, and students can leverage their current employment if the work they are doing relates to their degree program. When a student is ready for their internship, they meet with a member of our Career Connections team who guides them through the process.
