Description
This course trains students in key tasks of criminal investigations including interview and interrogation, crime scene management, documenting outcomes, writing search warrants, using electronic data, leveraging social media, investigating officer-involved incidents, working with informants, testifying in court, and maintaining investigative integrity. It includes lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and scenario-based instructions. As many as ten professional instructors will help students apply problem-solving skills to draw reliable conclusions and successfully close investigations. Participants will learn their responsibilities from the crime scene to the courtroom.
