Description
Interview and Interrogation Techniques is a two-day course that will equip investigators for success when conducting professional interviews and interrogations. The training is intended to enhance the student’s ability to reveal the truth by creating a positive environment for interpersonal communication, reducing acrimony, and effectively challenging deception while ensuring statements are voluntary and freely given.
This course provides in-depth instruction including but not limited to:
- Differentiating between interviews and interrogations
- Preparing to conduct an interview and/or interrogation
- Creating the proper setting
- Interviewing victims and witnesses
- Overview of the Miranda requirements
