Description
This course is designed for investigators responsible for handling overdose death investigations following the initial patrol response. It is intended for full-time investigators or those assigned to carry cases through all four phases of an overdose death investigation. The course specifically concentrates on the final two phases of the investigative process.
Topics include:
• Recommendations for initial patrol response
• When to access a phone without a warrant
• Undercover communication with source of supply, and much more
This course is the follow up to the Patrol Drug Overdose Course which is offered on October 15, 2026, and discusses Phases 1-2.
