Description
This course was designed to give Patrol Officers a more comprehensive understanding of Wisconsin traffic laws concerning commercial motor vehicles. Officers who complete this course will be able to comfortably make commercial motor vehicle contacts and enforce laws surrounding them.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Commercial Driver License Classes, Endorsements, Restrictions and Tiers of Operation
- Vehicle Registration
- Traffic Laws and Equipment Violations
- Accident Reporting and Traffic Citations
- OWI – Commercial Motor Vehicle / CDL
- Overweight Vehicles
