Description
This 8-hour course will provide law enforcement with the knowledge and tools needed to identify, understand, and more effectively investigate child abuse cases. It will cover legal understandings and law enforcement’s initial investigation. The course will also breakdown different types of abuse and investigative strategies.
Some of the topics will include: Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Abuse, Sexual Exploitation, Bullying, and Child Sexual Abuse Materials.
Guest speaker(s), subject to availability, will also present information on case reviews and resources available.
