Turn curiosity into opportunity at WCTC’s fall open house Nov. 6

“For many students, open house is where their future starts to click.” -- Ashleigh Zarling, dean of Enrollment Management

Student and volunteerPEWAUKEE, Wis. (Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025) – Just one week from today, Waukesha County Technical College will welcome guests to its fall open house on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 3-7 p.m., on the main Pewaukee campus.

The event is designed to share with potential students and their families details about the College and its 170-plus areas of study, including certificate, associate degree, technical diploma and apprenticeship programs.

“For many students, open house is where their future starts to click,” said Ashleigh Zarling, dean of Enrollment Management. “They get to test-drive programs, connect with instructors and see how their interests translate into in-demand careers. It’s a fun, high-energy night that shows how WCTC turns curiosity into opportunity.”

Breakout activities will feature convenient, drop-in sessions for guests to learn about high school dual credit opportunities, including WCTC Excelerate, Dual Enrollment Academy, Start College Now and others, along with details on admissions and financial aid. Visitors can also participate in interactive experiences, such as question-and-answer panels with current students and demonstrations of lab robotics in the College’s new Applied AI Lab.

Guests can explore campus life and learn about the many student activities and organizations, including social and professional clubs, short-term study abroad opportunities, Student Leadership Council, Student Mentoring Program and WCTC Esports Lab.
