Time to celebrate: WCTC graduates to cross the stage at fall commencement

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025) -- Waukesha County Technical College is buzzing with excitement as it prepares to honor its successful 2025 graduates at the fall commencementGraduates at ceremony ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m.

The ceremony marks a significant academic milestone for more than 280 students earning certificates, technical diplomas and associate degrees in programs within the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Applied Technologies, Business, Health and Protective & Human Services. The event will be held in the Anthony J. Natalizio Center (AJN Center), Building S, on the main Pewaukee campus.

Five Outstanding Student Award recipients from individual schools – those who embody the spirit and mission of WCTC -- will be honored Saturday. These students are selected based on their academic performance, credits completed, leadership experience and involvement in campus activities. One Outstanding Student – Grit Award recipient, will also be honored. This award is presented to one graduating student who demonstrates the characteristics of courage, resolve, strength of character, perseverance and determination in reaching his or her long-term goals.

•    Taugau Tau – Metal Fabrication/Welding-Advanced, School of Applied Technologies
•    Christine Melsheimer – Associate of Arts, School of Arts & Sciences
•    Annai Thattil – Culinary Management, School of Business
•    Marina Muffler – Health Information Technology, School of Health
•    Gavin Travanty – Paramedic Technician, School of Protective & Human Services
•    Morgan Lang – Human Services Associate, GRIT

Besides the official College commencement ceremony, students in several programs have held celebrations throughout the month, including the police academy graduation, nurse pinning ceremony and program showcases.  Several students were also recognized at the fall awards and honor societies induction ceremony on Dec. 3.
