

Hope in Action Suicide Prevention Training
Attend an upcoming FREE Hope in Action Suicide Prevention Training sponsored by WCTC’s Mental Health Counseling Services.
WHEN: Thursday, April 9 Noon – 1:15 p.m.
WHERE: WCTC Pewaukee Campus, 800 Main St., Room B115, Pewaukee
WHO: The training is open to WCTC students, instructors and staff.
WHY: Suicide is a critical issue affecting our community. By attending the Hope in Action Suicide Prevention Training, you will learn how to identify risk factors and signs of suicide, as well as how to effectively communicate with someone who may be struggling.
You'll gain practical skills for offering support and connecting individuals to the right resources, potentially saving lives. This training equips you with the knowledge and confidence to make a real difference for someone in crisis. This training may be difficult for someone who has recently lost a loved one to suicide.
A WCTC mental health counselor will be available during and after the training session.
