One of the top reasons why students drop out of school is because of unforeseen financial emergencies. Before you make a big decision, explore your options.
The WCTC Foundation provides financial assistance to students facing short-term financial emergencies. The Foundation’s Hand Up Grant (HUG) is designated for students who do not receive other financial assistance or scholarship funding but who find themselves with a sudden financial need. Please contact your program advisor to determine if you qualify for emergency grants or other resources. The Campus Cupboard food pantry, located in the WCTC College Center, is available to students who would otherwise struggle with hunger.
Another resource is GradReady, which gives you access to online financial planning tools and helps you create your financial and life management plan.
