Why Liberal Arts Transfer?

WCTC's Liberal Arts Transfer Degrees are designed with you in mind.

Complete the first two years of your bachelor’s degree in smaller, more personal classes at WCTC and UWM at Waukesha, taught by faculty who hold a master's degree or higher. You'll be in classes with 24 students or less!

You'll work directly with your advisor to design a customized set of courses from a variety of academic areas. With only three required courses, the remainder of your degree is up to you! Design a degree that helps you meet your unique educational goals.

Build a course schedule that works for your busy life! Our Liberal Arts Transfer Degrees can be completed entirely at night, or you can take advantage of daytime, online and in-person courses offered in convenient 8-week terms.

With an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science from WCTC, you'll enjoy an easier transition to a bachelor's degree. Upon graduation, all 61 credits will transfer to UW-Milwaukee and other four-year institutions throughout Wisconsin and beyond, meaning you can start your bachelor's degree at junior-level standing.

A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required. Some majors may have additional transfer requirements.

Liberal Arts Transfer Degrees offer an affordable route to a bachelor’s degree. Most courses in these programs cost between $143 - $189 per credit. Plus, you'll save on parking, housing and other expenses by staying close to home.

Save even more time and money by earning credit for what you already know! You may be able to earn credit for courses you take during high school, as well as experience from work, volunteering, military service and more.
