Critical Thinking/Nurs Skills
Course Description
Continue to develop and apply critical thinking of nursing skills and physical assessment in the Nursing Skills Lab. Content includes enhanced physical assessment using a body systems approach, multiple routes of medication administration, infusion therapy, enteral and nasogastric tube management, maintenance of oxygenation and wound management. Competency testing of several nursing skills is included in the course. This course is restricted to Nurse Refresher Program students; a permit is required to register.
