At WCTC, we’re committed to providing education programs that meet the ever-changing needs of industry. That’s why we rely on more than 1,400 industry professionals who serve on 60 advisory committees. Their job is to guide our curriculum and ensure that what we teach in the classroom reflects employer expectations, and as a result, employers consistently hire WCTC graduates who are able to immediately contribute their skills in the workplace.
These advisory committees are also vital links between the College and the community we serve, helping to improve the understanding of technical and general education among industry, business and the general public. Today, more than ever before, educators and employers must work as a team and share the responsibility for training the workforce essential to our economy.
