Description:

This course will be a hybrid format.  

This is the WTCS-approved course to meet all objectives of the National Fire Protection Association's 1031 Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector, Level 1.  This course also requires successful completion of 30 hours of the Job Shadow process.  Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to seek WTCS Fire Inspector I certification.

This course will meet in person on Mondays 10/19/26 - 12/7/26 week from 8:30 - 12:20 pm.  This is a 60 hour course. Remaining course hours are completed online independently through Canvas, our learning management system.  

The Fire Inspector I Practical Skills exam will be Friday, December 11th, 2026.
