Certification Prerequisite/Entry 

• A FESI-I candidate shall have a Wisconsin Fire Fighter II certification

The required hours for this course is 40.  This course will provide additional training in techniques of instruction focusing on evaluating student performance, instructional delivery, grading and using prepared lesson plans.   The course is designed to provide the FESI I candidate with the information necessary to meet the job performance requirements (JPRs) in NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications, Chapter 4,  2019 Edition.
