Description:

Prerequisites: A Fire Officer I candidate shall be an Accredited IFSAC, ProBoard or Wisconsin certified Fire Fighter II.

This course meets the NFPA 1021, Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, training requirements for WTCS Fire Officer I certification.  The student will be presented with required material and be given the opportunity to demonstrate skills, abilities and knowledge through activities designed for fire service organization officers.

This is a 40 hour course, 16 hours of in-person and 24 hours of online instruction. Online hours completed independently through Canvas, WCTC learning management system
