Description:

This course meets the NFPA 1021, Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, training requirements for WTCS Fire Officer I certification.  The student will be presented with required material and be given the opportunity to demonstrate skills, abilities and knowledge through activities designed for fire service organization officers.

Prerequisites: A Fire Officer I candidate shall be an Accredited IFSAC, ProBoard or Wisconsin certified Fire Fighter II.

This is a 40 hour course, 16 hours of in-person and 24 hours of online instruction. Online hours completed independtly through Canvas, our learning management system
