Description:
This course meets the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, EMS Section, requirements for Critical Care Paramedic credentialing. Students receive didactic, laboratory, and clinical content and experiences necessary to supplement existing Paramedic knowledge to practice within the Wisconsin Critical Care Paramedic Scope of Practice (once credentialed by DHS).

- WCTC Main Campus – 800 Main Street, Pewaukee, WI
- Clinical rotations (approximately 40 hours) will be scheduled starting mid-September through December. Rotations will offer a varied schedule and will be offered based on student availability where possible.
- Uniform is required for class/clinical rotations (department uniform pants and T-shirt or polo shirt is acceptable)

- Be at least 21 years of age on the date of enrollment.
- Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
- Possess a valid course completion card for Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Possess a valid EMT-Paramedic license or certification with a recommendation of three (3) years experience as a Paramedic.
- Possess a valid course completion card for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Possess a valid course completion card for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). WCTC will offer a class Aug 3 and 4 – sign up available at www.wctc.edu/fire-ems
