Math Foundations

Course Description

Build essential skills for education and employment. Develop number sense using base ten, perform operations with multi-digit numbers, and explore geometry, early algebra and measurement. Solve one-step word problems, identify shapes, measure using appropriate tools and interpret simple data. The course covers basic fractions, variables, equations, charts and graphs, and introduces probability in real-life contexts.
