EMS Fundamental

Course Description

Gain a comprehensive knowledge of EMS systems, safety, well-being, legal issues and ethical issues in order to improve the health of EMS personnel, patients and the community. Obtain fundamental knowledge of public health principles, epidemiology as related to public health emergencies, health promotion and illness/injury prevention. Gain an introduction to comprehensive anatomical and medical terminology and abbreviations, and develop effective written and oral communication with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
