Heartsaver First Aid
Course Description
Learn first aid procedures for injuries, including bleeding control; bone, joint and muscle injuries; burns; and specific injuries to the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis and spine. Address sudden illnesses, including seizures, diabetic emergencies, poisoning, bites and stings, and heat and cold emergencies. The instructor may adjust certain course details to fit your particular setting and expectations. The fee includes a textbook and a two-year American Heart Association certification card. You must arrive on time for this training; if you show up more than 20 minutes late, you will not be allowed to attend the class.
