Course Description
Focus on preparing the patient and operating room for surgery, and learn principles of sterile techniques utilized in the scrub role. Develop a solid foundation of knowledge in the occupational environment, including sterilization/disinfection practices and an introduction to surgical instruments. Participate in preoperative patient care concept simulations.
