Course Description

Effective communication in healthcare is essential. Gain strategies to improve communication with patients and other health team members. Learn about verbal, nonverbal and written communication types; barriers to communication; active/reflective listening and evidence-based strategies for effective communication in healthcare today. This course provides three nursing contact hours.
