Transportation Employer Meet and Greet set for Wednesday, April 22

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Monday, April 20, 2026) -- Waukesha County Technical College will hold its Transportation Employer Meet and Greet on Wednesday, April 22, from 5-7 p.m. The event will be held in the Richard T. Anderson Education Center (RTA Center), College Center, on the main Pewaukee Campus. 
This meet and greet is open to students, prospective students, alumni and community members interested in Diesel Equipment Technology and Truck Driving programs. Employers from the transportation industry will be on hand to share information about their organization, types of jobs within their company and advancement opportunities.
“This event plays an important role in supporting the regional transportation workforce. By bringing employers, equipment and educators together in one place, the Transportation Employer Meet and Greet strengthens the talent pipeline and highlights the collaborative relationship between WCTC and industry,” said Lynda Busack, WCTC’s associate dean of Graphics, Construction and Transportation.
Expected attendees include a wide variety of employers, including Kreilkamp Trucking, Roland Machinery, Schneider, Rev/Crete Ready Mix, UPS, JX Enterprises and more. Employer tables will be located in the RTA, and company representatives will also have equipment on display in parking lots 19 and 20. WCTC instructors will also be on hand to answer questions about College programs.
“Prospective students are welcome to see first-hand what careers their education will lead them to. Skills learned here matter and employers find value in the students and alumni who trained at WCTC,” Busack said.
