Congratulations, graduates: Class of 2026 to walk the stage at two ceremonies this Saturday

Two jumping graduates - femalePEWAUKEE, Wis. (Monday, May 11, 2026) – More than 560 WCTC students who will be graduating from associate degree, technical diploma and apprenticeship programs are getting ready to cross the stage at two spring commencement ceremonies this Saturday, May 16.

  • The morning ceremony will be at 10 a.m. for students in programs within the schools of Applied Technologies and Health.
  • The afternoon ceremony will be at 1:30 p.m. for students in programs within the schools of Arts & Sciences, Business and Protective & Human Services; this includes the very first group of graduates from the AI Data Specialist program -- the first named AI associate degree program offered in the state. Both ceremonies will be held in the Anthony J. Natalizio (AJN) Center, within the College’s Service Building (S Building), main Pewaukee Campus.

Five Outstanding Student Award recipients from individual schools – those who embody the spirit and mission of WCTC -- will be honored. These students are selected based on their academic performance, credits completed, leadership experience and involvement in campus activities. One Outstanding Student – Grit Award recipient, will also be honored. This award is presented to one graduating student who demonstrates the characteristics of courage, resolve, strength of character, perseverance and determination in reaching his or her long-term goals.

  • Sarah Metz -- Mechanical Engineering Technology, School of Applied Technologies (student speaker, morning ceremony)
  • Dylan Holmes -- Liberal Arts, School of Arts & Sciences (student speaker, afternoon ceremony)
  • Karina Gibson -- Marketing, School of Business
  • Eric Edgerly -- Surgical Technology, School of Health
  • Kathryn Morgan -- Foundations of Teacher Education, School of Protective & Human Services
  • Daniel Hogan – IT-Web and Software Developer, Grit Award

In addition to the official College commencement, many programs have held – or will hold -- celebrations this month, including the Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement Academy graduation, nurse pinning ceremony and individual program showcases. On May 6, several students were honored at the National Technical Honor Society/Tri-Alpha Induction Ceremony and Spring Awards Ceremony. 

On Friday, May 15, more than 235 high school juniors and seniors will participate in WCTC’s Dual Enrollment Academy completion ceremony. DEA allows high school students to explore high-demand fields and earn college credit while still in high school.
