510-459I IV Therapy and Insertion
Gain skills in IV insertion techniques and learn the latest in infusion practices. Review the basics of equipment, fluids and insertion site selection, and gain practice in insertion techniques. This course is designed for nurses, nursing students with some clinical experience and others who may be responsible for IV insertion or maintenance under RN or MD supervision. It may be used as a comprehensive review or as a general course to build knowledge and skills; it is not intended for specialization in IV practice.
There is no prerequisite for this course.
