US Citizenship

Prepare to take the examination required by the Immigration and Naturalizing Service (INS) to become a United States citizen. This 9-week program is held once a semester during the evening and includes:

  • General introduction to significant dates, events and documents in U.S. history
  • Identification of Americans who played an important role in establishing the country
  • Overview of the development of the U.S. government
  • Explanation of the rights and responsibilities of individuals in the country

Upon completing this program, you'll be able to address all 100 questions included in the civics portion, plus gain important information for the remainder of the interview.
