Computer Basics

Course Description

Gain an introduction to basic computer concepts. Explore desktop microcomputers and gain experience with computer hardware, including mouse, keyboard and printer. Learn how to use the Windows operating system, WordPerfect and Print Shop. Learn how to use the microcomputer to access the internet, and explore terminology and concepts needed to find information on websites. Use the internet for electronic communication via web-based email.
