Course Description
Gain an introduction to a sociological analysis of happiness. Examine how our culture has defined happiness and compare that with other cultures' definitions. Explore the role institutions (family, education, economics, politics, religion) play in the good life. Examine how dimensions of inequality (wealth, race, sex, age) impact our ability to live the good life.
