Course Description
Explore concepts and tools for successfully implementing lean, including 5S and cellular manufacturing, focusing on the concept of one-piece flow and pull production. Explore leadership-related issues that lean enterprise facilitators face in the workplace. Gain insight into how to apply these tools and concepts in manufacturing and transactional related fields. Work collaboratively to present theory, review case studies and develop a project that analyzes lean practices.
