Intro to Prog in Python
Course Description
This course provides an introduction to Python programming with an emphasis on core programming constructs and logical problem-solving. Topics include variables, data types, control flow, functions, basic algorithms and key data structures such as lists, tuples, and dictionaries. Students will also learn the fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming, including the use of classes and objects. Practical skills are developed through writing scripts for file processing, string manipulation, text parsing, calculations and the use of regular expressions.
