Course Description

Explore the exciting world of sports, esports, entertainment and events industry from a strategic marketing perspective. Explore the stakeholders, competitive landscape, media and trends within the industry. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the specific goals and objectives for corporate sponsorships, including brand image, reaching specific target audiences and supporting specific causes. Examine relevant metrics and key performance indicators to measure the success and return on investment, as well as strategies to activate and leverage sponsorship. Review and interpret an actual sponsorship contract. Work as part of a team to research and evaluate the value of corporate sponsorships for specific teams, festivals, events, concerts or nonprofit events.
