Description

Blueprints are the universal way of communicating throughout the manufacturing process from engineering, manufacturing, assembly and/or quality (inspection).

  • Gain the ability to communicate properly with others on the production team.
  • Learn the skills for interpreting various types of views from orthographic projections to isometric pictorials. You will see how the different lines are put to use from Visible lines, Hidden lines, Dimension lines and others. This will all be accomplished through the ANSI/ASME Standards.
  • Define different types of scales used in drawings.
  • Interpret basic terminology and the various symbols and notations used on drawings.
  • Comprehend pictorial drawings.
